General presentation > Objectives and scope
The main objective of the conference is to bring together professionals from industry and academia to present and discuss recent advances in the field of Surfaces (modifications, characterization, treatments, corrosion, mechanical properties, coatings and many more). The previous conferences have proven to be excellent opportunities for participants to get an overview of the state-of-the-art of the field and to develop networking interactions.
